Prunes

Botanically speaking, a prune is a plum, but not all plums can become prunes. Only dried plums are called prunes, though the term is commonly applied to fresh plums that can be dried successfully. They are high in fiber and contain modest amounts of vitamin A, vitamin B3 and vitamin B6. It takes about 18 hours at 185ºF to remove about 80 percent of the moisture in prunes. South American producers have demonstrated $700-900 / dry ton creates planting incentives.

Guava

Guava (from Spanish Guayaba; Goiaba in Portuguese) is a genus of about 100 species of tropical shrubs and small trees in the myrtle family Myrtaceae, native to the Caribbean, Central America and northern South America.
The guava may be propagated by grafting or air layering but is commonly grown from seed. The disadvantage of the latter method is that seedlings do not always reproduce the characteristics of the parent. Seedlings bear fruit during the second year.
South Africa, India, Hawaii & Malaysia are the major producers and exporters of Guava & Products.
